Q. What is Kaleydoscoptics?

The name Kaleyedoscoptics really describes how different our classes are from other educational services. Breaking the word into syllables helps to see the underlying meaning:

*kal=for calisthenics (represents the physical activities which turn on the brain)

*eye=for the eyes of course (without them what would we do)

*do=because every student must do everything 4 ways (see it, say it, hear it, do it)

*scoptics=because we look at every detail closely (sometimes as if through a microscope and others times as if through a telescope)

Kal*eye*do*scoptics is a whole body-mind approach that generates lasting, quantifiable gains in academic performance. Many students also see improvement in social, behavioral, and physical performance.

Q. How long have you been teaching these programs?

Kaleyedoscoptics began to take form about 28 years ago as the founder struggled to find the best education for her children. As she learned methods, programs and processes that helped her children to achieve success friends and extended family members requested that she help their children. In 2002 she extended her services to the public by creating Whole Brain Reading Programs, LLC. The program became so popular that the need to trademark became evident, so an enhanced name, Kaleyedoscoptics, A Visual Approach to Learning was trademarked and began operating in 2013.

Q. What was Whole Brain Reading?

Whole Brain Reading Programs was the original name of Ms. Williams-LeBlanc’s program serving the greater Baton Rouge, LA area from April of 2002- August of 2013. Whole Brain Reading Programs became so successful that Ms. LeBlanc decided to trademark the processes and name. When she inquired at the attorney’s office she was informed that she would not be able to trademark the phrase “Whole Brain Reading”. She was directed to find a new name that really stated what she did and that was different from any other name. After the trademarking process was completed Kaleyedoscoptics, A Visual Approach to Learning officially became the new name in the fall of 2013.
